Sometimes supporters say that we don’t communicate much about our financial needs. It’s a little uncomfortable for us because we really want the focus to be on the wonderful provision that God has made for us to be able to serve in PNG these past years. (Sixteen for Randy!) That said, we do have some financial needs.
We are amazed and grateful at how God has provided for us to be in ministry here in PNG and how generously His people have given to support us! At the same time our faith is stretched on a daily basis as we look to God to enable us to accomplish the ministry He has put on our hearts.
We have greatly appreciated the sacrificial giving of those who make it possible for us to work here in PNG! Without you we could not be here!
The ministry expenses of living in Hoskins are quite a bit larger than ever. Flight training, base checks, instrument competency checks, flight physicals, dental and medical needs are all met in the Highlands (300 miles away), are necessary to our particular ministry and require large expenditures to accomplish. Our monthly income averages about $1,500 montly below where we need to be to thrive. Above the sacrificial giving of our faithful monthly supporters, we have been sustained by occasional large one time gifts and so we have been able to continue. We need to see an increase to minister more effectively here.
We would like to have a more significant impact as a couple on the lives of our remote missionaries by visiting and assisting. So far this has not been possible.
Please be praying with us about these things. God’s resources are not in short supply. Sometimes all we need to do is ask.
1John 5:14 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:”
